Confirm that the receiving property is authorized for mobile-home occupancy and obtain the applicable location approval before arranging delivery. The code prohibits delivering or placing a mobile home on property not zoned for that occupancy.
Delivery itself is covered
Section 15-24 reaches delivery as well as placement and setup on property not zoned for mobile-home occupancy.
Hardship is a separate process
The park-location provision includes specific exceptions; hardship is not a general right to add a second dwelling.
The delivery restriction reaches the hauler’s schedule
Section 15-24 of the Meridian mobile-home location and delivery code covers delivery as well as placement and setup. Section 15-2 directs the location application to the city’s planning and inspection department. That makes the receiving decision material to a transport plan even though the carrier does not approve zoning.
Give the receiving applicant the exact home and destination. Ask for the basis on which that property may receive the unit before treating a proposed arrival day as confirmed.
Discuss a Meridian delivery
Provide the exact receiving space or parcel and its authorization status.
Do not assume a private lot qualifies
Section 15-26 contains the general park-location restriction and specific exceptions, including a hardship process. An exception is a separate local decision with conditions; it should not be represented as a general right to place a second dwelling beside an existing residence.

For an approved park, identify the individual space and operator contact. For another site, establish the applicable authorization with the city. Give those receiving details and the home dimensions to the transporter. Setup, utility connections and site work remain outside this transport quote, and destination permission does not replace road-haul authorization.
