Confirm whether the destination is an MH-district park or a separate MD-district lot. For a park space, use the site plan to identify the interior curb, proposed home position and private-drive approach, then have the transporter assess that path for the actual load.
MD and MH are different districts
A separate Manufactured Dwelling lot is not the same receiving category as a Manufactured Homes Park space.
Planning standard is not load clearance
City Engineer review of internal-drive adequacy does not certify clearance for the actual home section.
The Lufkin zoning ordinance treats the Manufactured Dwelling district, MD, separately from the Manufactured Homes Park district, MH. Use the Lufkin planning and zoning page to resolve the parcel’s classification before applying a park layout assumption to a separate lot.
The interior curb is a meaningful reference
For manufactured-home parks, the ordinance identifies the front line at the interior street curb because there is no dedicated right of way there. It also provides for a public-street entrance leading to private paved drives serving the individual spaces.
Give the carrier the internal delivery path
Identify the Lufkin park and space, entrance, pickup point and home sections. Describe tight turns or other access concerns when asking for transport; arrange site preparation and installation separately.
Ask the park operator to show the receiving space and proposed position on the site plan. Give the carrier a usable description of the entrance-to-space route, including where the load must turn. A map pin at the office may leave a different final approach than the one needed for the selected pad.
The ordinance assigns assessment of internal-drive adequacy to the City Engineer. That planning standard does not certify that a particular home section clears the current route. The transporter still needs to assess the dimensions and conditions it will encounter.
