Jackson’s flood ordinance restricts manufactured-home placement in a designated floodway. Its existing-park or subdivision pathway is conditional; an old home space does not automatically authorize a replacement.
Floodway is the narrower term
Do not treat a regulatory floodway restriction as a rule for every floodplain parcel.

Ask about the designated floodway, not just the address
The Jackson riverine flood standards contain a manufactured-home restriction within their floodway provisions. This is not a blanket statement about every Jackson parcel or every location described as being in a floodplain. Have the receiving reviewer determine whether the proposed position falls within the designated floodway.
If it does, raise the existing manufactured-home park or subdivision question with that reviewer. The ordinance makes replacement subject to its referenced standards and encroachment provisions. Park history alone is not enough to settle the incoming home’s eligibility.
Coordinate a Jackson hauling request
Share the proposed receiving space and review status alongside the home dimensions and pickup address.
Get the receiving answer before fixing delivery
Use Jackson residential permits to identify the city’s receiving review process. Tell the applicant which home and space are proposed, whether another home is being replaced, and what records are available. Leave the flood determination, engineering certification and installation requirements with the relevant officials and professionals.

Describe the status of the destination review so the parties can coordinate timing without assuming approval.
