Conway's zoning code provides a conditional-use process for replacing an existing single-wide mobile home in a residential district. It also sets a filing deadline when removal or destruction occurs before the request. Ask Planning and Development to confirm the applicable procedure and timing before committing to the outgoing move.
A replacement is a specific zoning question
Section 518.4 of the Conway zoning code addresses existing single-wide replacements. Conditional-use approval is a possibility subject to requirements, not an automatic right to deliver another home. Use the Conway planning and development page to confirm the request, required notices and timing for the property.
Tell staff whether the old home remains in place, has already been removed or was destroyed. That distinction matters to the filing rule. Coordinate the removal date only after the owner understands how the city will handle the replacement.
Plan the outgoing and incoming transport together
Explain whether this is a single-wide replacement and whether the existing home is still on the lot. Request hauling terms that account for the city's unresolved placement decision.
Identify the incoming unit and its receiving district
Section 518.3 treats scattered-site manufactured homes separately and includes placement, foundation and exterior requirements. It generally calls for a double-wide or larger multi-section unit outside the RMH and SR districts. Have planning staff check the specific home and district, including whether the replacement provision applies.

Give the transporter the confirmed unit configuration and receiving position. The transport agreement should state whether it covers the outgoing haul, incoming haul or both; foundation work and installation need separate coordination. A general building-moving checklist alone does not settle the manufactured home's eligibility for the lot.
